About me and my practice
I believe one of the most important questions we can ask is not What is wrong with you? but What has happened to you?
Very often, our struggles begin there.
In our sessions, we take time to gently explore your experiences, the beliefs you may have learned along the way, and the stories you have carried about yourself and your life. Some of these ways of being may once have been protective or helpful and others may now feel limiting or exhausting.
I offer a calm, reflective space where we can have curious, thoughtful conversations together. I listen without judgement, at your pace, and with care. Through this process, we look for ways of understanding yourself more fully and finding different, more supportive ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.
My hope is that therapy supports you to live in a way that feels more authentic, grounded, and aligned with the life you would like for yourself.

I began my professional counselling training in 2005 and completed my counselling diploma in 2008. I am committed to ongoing professional and personal development and work in line with ethical guidelines to ensure safe, thoughtful, and responsible practice.

Sessions:
Individual sessions: £50
Couples sessions: £65
Please feel free to contact me to discuss fees. I recognise that many people are managing financial pressures, and I am open to having a conversation about this.
Availability:
Monday to Thursday, 8:00am 6:00pm
Zoom sessions can be arranged from 7:00 am
Platforms: Zoom, Skype, FaceTime

Initial Consultation
Usually, we begin by arranging an initial meeting this will enable us both to decide whether we would like to work together. It is essential to find a counsellor you feel comfortable with and can connect with this will give your counselling the best start.
During our first meeting, I will invite you to share what has been happening in your life, what is on your mind, what is bothering you. I offer a kind, confidential conversation. I will not criticise, interrupt, or judge as you share a little about your story and experiences. The counselling relationship is unique because you are supported to say exactly how you feel without worrying about the impact on others or someones feelings.
If you decide you would like to continue, we can arrange to meet weekly or fortnightly, usually on a regular day of the week. However, Im mindful that life has commitments and restraints. I will do my best to accommodate individual situations.

Fees
Individual sessions £50.00 per session
Couple sessions £65.00 per session

When I Work
Mondays - Thursdays between 8.00 am and 6pm
Zoom sessions can be arranged earlier in the day from 7am .
